MY MONOLOGUES

'ON STRIKE!'- is a SHEFFIELD-based monologue about a railway strike at the local station. A monologue I wrote that was sparked by the recent strikes by the working classes against the corporate capitalists.

Give it a read;

LATE NIGHT, SHEAF STREET - is a monologue inspired by Sheffield Railway Station, its incredible history, and a song by The Arctic Monkeys. It debuted on BBC Radio Sheffield and is probably my best work.

'HOTEL ROOM' was broadcast on BBC Radio Sheffield in 2022. You can read that here:

'PIS%ED!'  is a poem inspired by many bus journeys and my previous life as a boozer! I chose this image of a typical bus stop (Abbeydale Road, Sheffield) as this is a typically grey northern bus stop I would find myself standing at. I wrote this after seeing John Cooper-Clarke do a gig at Sheffield City Hall.

Give it a read;
